Day +209
Clinic Day

Recap on clinic visit
  • WBC: 3.38
  • HGB: 10.8
  • Platelet: 198
  • Port flush, phlebotomy (170cc of blood withdrawn) and aerosol pentamidine

With our primary BMT Dr. Haight.
We are so lucky to have her in our team, she's a super hero.

For some reason, Viki's port was little sluggish in taking out blood today.
(It flushed okay though.)
They decided to give Viki a TPA medicine through her port to thin the clot.
Meanwhile, we went ahead with our aerosol pentamidine on the ground floor.
Even with TPA, her port was not cooperative, we had to call it a day.
(Was only able to withdraw 170cc out of 200cc.)
Nurse Ashley gave extra effort, she might have sore hands. Felt so bad for her.

Daddy was with us today, yay!
