I'm all for once-a-month visit but, there are times I need to call and come to clinic. Today was one of those days. Viki recently had complained about breathing. She looked uncomfortable when taking a deep breath. I knew it wasn't life-threatning but, knowing that breathing problem was a top priority for BMT patients that I could not wait till next appointment and went there for an immediate attention.
Nurse practionner Ms.Katie examined Viki thoroughly. According to her, Viki sounded perfect. We came home with no treatment. So weird... I hate this unknowns but felt relieved that her lungs are functioning well.
BTW, I asked her for Viki's growth chart and it looked wonderful: 53% for weight, 44% for height.
